TD Sequential Translated to RealCode
14 05 2008Well I did it. The code needs some serious work but I finished translating my TD Sequential code block into RealCode. The main hurdle was getting the indexing right.
Besides getting the code cleaned up, I need to figure out how to automatically add lines to the chart for the TDST lines( I don’t know if that is possible). I also want to apologize to Kuf for saying that RealCode runs slower than Code Blocks. It doesn’t. I was just writing crappy code.
The upper chart is the old way (code block). The lower chart uses RealCode.

Hello pstiles,
Nice website.
As a suggestion, you can add TDST lines to your chart by creating a block diagram that uses the Value When Last True block.
I can email you a screen shot of the diagram if you would like.

Does it look anything like this?

Obviously I know how to do that. My point was that I didn’t know how to create the lines using RealCode only.
Thanks for stopping by the blog.
Paul
no it shows the values of the TDST lines as they change over time. Not just the most recent value.
Oh, mine have the capability to to do that, but I usually just like to look at the most recent. I still would be interested to see what yours look like.
Paul
Sure no problem. How can i email you a screen shot of the diagram? I only suggested it as an alternative because it is configured with pre-existing blocks instead of realcode or custom code blocks. It should be easy to pass along to your users.

Paul, I have Sequential and Combo in RealCode, if you would like to take a look. Email me and I’ll send you the layout with the charts and code.
I am new to Block (rlb1987), and I am trying to undestant the DeMark techniques. and implement them. I see you have done a lot about it. Could
you help me with the code of TD sequential and related indicators you have?
Best Regards
