Video Test

27 05 2008

I’ve been playing around with some screencast tools. Here is a 10 min video. I realize that the presentation could be cleaned up a bit, but I would appreciate any constructive criticism.  Hopefully I’ll have more to come.

Excellent job! I know you want some constructive feedback but honestly none comes to mind. I have been using TDST and Sequential along with TD Pressure and TD REI thanks to you and your website. Seeing your video gave me a greater understanding of how to scan in Blocks for low risk setups. I am still struggling with how to scan for TD Perfection so I look forward to more videos.

Thank you,

Sincerely,
KevinOwens

Hi Paul,
nice video - are you using WINK?

CWEI - you cannot fade parabolic move of the stock with 6M shares float and under 40% institutional ownership ( steady on the rise) in the runaway crazy bull move.
Although, on weekly, for the week of 4/28/2008 when countdown was completed, CWEI sold off some, then closed practically unchanged - not a good sign for bears. Another warning sign was that on the week of 4/21 - TDSeq was, really, recycled, so countdown lost its meaning. For renewed TDSeq CWEI just completed week #6 - I guess we have 3 more weeks to wait :-). One more thing to watch out for was DeMarker - steady flat above 90! for many weeks - that IS a monster.

Next - XOI
I don’t have Bloomberg these days, but I think, you were slightly off on XOI ( on May 11th ?). It is JUST completed TDSeq this last week, plus prior week - nice hammer like/spinning top candle - bears might just get lucky this upcoming week.

Paul, I’m sending you snapshots of CWEI and XOI, if you think it might benefit to your work and your readers - feel free to post/analyze it on your site ( I’ll be honored) - if you think I’ve made mistakes in my analysis - I’ll be more than happy ( where is George Carlin for my “more than happy” :)) - to know your opinion.
Keep up the good work!

You are right about fading an illiquid stock. I probably should have said that with the post. My experiment was based on Demark’s claim that illiquid stocks are more likely to follow his indicators than big time stocks.

I’m in Boston right for business right now, so please disregard everything I’m saying. I’ve had too much to drink.

I’ll recheck my numbers tomorrow. I’m using my version of TD Sequential using Blocks 3.1 (the poor man’s Bloomberg).
