Worden making changes to Blocks again

28 09 2008

It looks like Worden is changing the pricing structure of Blocks again!  Only this time they are also taking advantage of the new release to also ditch the name “Blocks”.  It is now going to known as “StockFinder”.

I’ll try to keep you up to date if I hear anything.

Email Excerpt:

I’m happy to let you know that a new version of Blocks will be released in the next couple weeks along with several important changes. This email is to give you a heads up about what’s coming and to keep you in the loop. You don’t need to respond. Everything below will happen automatically.
The name “Blocks” is being retired and replaced with the name “StockFinder”. It is a sentimental day, but we feel this better represents the product and causes less consumer confusion.
Two new packaged pricing plans are being introduced that should save most users money. You will be given the option to switch to one of the new plans or to remain on your current a-la-carte plan. Here are the new pricing plans for the new StockFinder 4.0:

They felt threatened of being sued by another stock software company that owned the blocks name long before worden ever came up with it.
